Shahril Ishak

Shahril Ishak (born 23 January 1984) is a Singaporean football player who plays for the Malaysia-based Johor Darul Takzim II F.C in the Malaysian Premier League which competed in the Second division in Malaysia. Shahril is also the captain of the Johor Darul Takzim II F.C and Singapore national football team. Awarded the AFF Suzuki Cup MVP, he led Singapore to become the first nation to win four titles in the tournament's history. He is a natural centre midfielder who can also play as a striker or winger.
==Club career==

Along with Baihakki Khaizan, Hassan Sunny and Khairul Amri, Shahril was in the pioneer batch of the National Football Academy in 2000.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Interview With Baihakki Khaizan )
Shahril has previously played for S.League clubs Young Lions and Home United. He joined the Young Lions in 2003 and made his international debut soon after. Shahril Ishak left the Young Lions for Home United after four seasons.
In 2010 he signed for indonesia Persib Bandung along with his fellow Singapore national football team player, Baihakki Khaizan. He played his last game for Home United on 21 Sep 2010, scoring two crucial goals against title rivals Tampines Rovers FC. He then left for Indonesia with five games remaining in the S.League season. He played for Persib Bandung for six months. In March 2011, he signed with Liga Primer Indonesia, Medan Chiefs a one-year deal worth $380,000. He then went on scoring five goals in 18 matches for Medan Chiefs. However, his playing career for Medan Chiefs was short lived when the league was folded during the third-quarter of 2011. He returned to Singapore football with newly formed club side LionsXII in December 2011, winning the 2013 Malaysia Super League title in his second season.
Shahril signed a 4-year contract at the end of 2013 Malaysian Super League transfer by joining Malaysian Premier League club, Johor Darul Takzim II F.C.. He was given the number 17 shirt upon his arrival to the club.
